My experience working in internet marketing

I had spent most of my life working in retail and in and out of offices and I found most of the time that I was quite bored with my working life. It was pretty mundane having to serve the same sort of customers each day and I really wanted a bit of a challenge. Added to this my mother had recently fallen ill and I wanted to be close to her, so I thought about the prospect of working from home.

A lot of people were negative about this when I mentioned it to them as they all assumed that all 'work from home' jobs were scams and would end up costing me more money than I would make. Well I decided to have a bit of a look to see what I could find and prove them wrong.

I then stumbled across this website and it intrigued me as to what exactly it would mean I would be doing. So after reading through the different sections I thought to myself I could give it a try, despite never have done anything to do with marketing or advertising.

So I sent in my application and after only a couple of days I got a reply saying that I had been successful and asking when I wanted to start. So I said I could start straight away and before too long I had started my first assignment. I should mention at this point that I was pretty smart with computers as I had a bit of experience in designing websites for some friends of mine as well as a few of the businesses that I worked at over the years. So when I was given the task of working out how to better promote some business on Google, it all came extremely natural to me as I also had a bit of experience in that field as well. So things started off quite smoothly for me.
 
After a while though I found myself wanting a bit of a challenge, and I was presented with one when it came to some creative writing tasks that were asked of me. Now I was never the best creative writer in school so to me this was a case of me having to get my head around something new and really giving myself a decent enough challenge that I knew I could eventually succeed in.

How did I overcome it? Well I actually read through a lot of stories and tried to get down pat some of their styles, and soon I found myself writing in a similar fashion and it made me feel extremely energised and enthusiastic! I would then also do some work in trying to get some online ads up on various different sites and really try and get the man clients I was dealing with a true online reflection with their advertising dollar. And it actually turned out to be extremely enjoyable. The fact that I got to work from home too and essentially set all my own hours was great, because I was right on hand with my mother to help her out when she needed anything and I was always able to do stories in my spare time so that I could make some extra money. It was amazing being able to set what hours I worked and essentially be my own boss, as it was certainly a time in my life where I really needed this to be the case. It was something that in no way was I even getting close to regretting.
 
So I'm sure by now if you reached the end of this part you are still wondering if doing an internet marketing job is for you. Well consider all the options you may or may not have in your working life and really work out what is the best for you. Because getting an internet marketing job has the potential to make you a fair bit of money, and all the while working from the comfort of your own home, and you really have nothing to lose anyway.
